The job as VP Product Design

Location: Stockholm

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join Gigset Product & Technology as the VP of Product Design, leading design aspect of end user experience, market communication, visual design and brand design. You will develop experiences for In-Home end-user Apps, eCommerce, business & clients, and back-office and end-user App experiences. You’ll craft a strategy based on insights, brand, and vision and paint an exciting future. While you have to be a one-stop-shop for all design areas, you gravitate towards designing and developing digital products, their UX/UI, and new experiences.

The team is responsible for Gigset’s technical platform and all its applications. Your work will have a vital impact on the whole company, our partners, and end-users. Above all, your work will impact the way live shows are experienced from home.

What you'll do

• Lead design work across the entire platform and lifecycle of a live show.
• Lead the vision for the user experience.
• Deliver through effective planning. Interaction design, visuals, and prototypes.
• Solve complicated problems and find user-friendly solutions
• Provide design thinking and leadership to develop the right product strategy.
• Develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to validate concepts and hypothesis
• Conduct user research and data-driven design.
• Be autonomous and take full ownership of your work on every last detail, every step of the user journey.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to identify and solve challenging problems.
• Share knowledge, promote standard methodologies, and collaborate with a team of equally hard-working peers.

Who You Are

• You have 10+ years of experience in design and are preferable for both back-office, B2B products, and well as user-facing Smart Apps.
• Have proven design success, shipped products, and understand what it takes to create valuable and usable experiences.
• A talented design thinker and problem solver who can connect the dots.
• Strong UX and UI and visual design skills.
• Constantly sketching concepts, flows, or refining design big-thinking.
• You’re an outstanding teammate, communicator, and facilitator. We work as a team and you will be a thought leader for that team.
• You are a great storyteller and communicator, you’re able to translate business needs into user friendly experiences.
• You have strong design tool skills, such as Illustrator, Figma, and Photoshop.
• You love working in an environment where you constantly experiment and iterate quickly.
• You use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform your design decisions and are a hands-on UX designer.
• You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality experiences.
